Oregon

Located on the west coast, Oregon has the Cascade Mountain Range running down its center from north to south. Since the Cascade Range is part of the volcanic Ring of Fire which encircles the Pacific Ocean, much of Oregon is shaped by a volcanic landscape. There is something thrilling about walking on/in a volcano with the knowledge of its violent past and its potential for the same in the present/future. And yet, the realization that this is all part of the nature that made our mountains, our continents and the land we live on. For us, Oregon has always been a land of everything we love: tall evergreen trees, waterfalls, volcanoes, mountains and rocks!
